This absolutely has to be done. Ammonia has a very high vapor content. Thats why its so dangerous. They could get a new flange sent overnight. However, they may have overpressurized the tank causing a failure in which case the tank would have to be replaced as well. Seems to happen a lot at CF

Major traffic jam on Sunshine Bridge created by thousands of plaintiff lawyers from New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Despite the north winds this morning residents as far north as Baker are reporting breathing difficulty and watery eyes. Local emergency rooms and urgent care clinics in Baton Rouge are filling to capacity.
