Anyone else try to land in Atlanta last night?

Weather front came in late. We ended up rerouting and making an emergency landing in Greenville.
Pilot tried to land in ATL at first and couldn’t. When I say it was the most anxious 5 minutes I have had on a plane I am not exaggerating. Like something out of a movie with the plane pitching and bouncing and cloudy enough I couldn’t see the wing. At one point I sorta mentally prepared for the end.

That sucks. That front that came through was no joke.

Been there, done that. Once. With the current weather apps, if it looks that bad, I’m opting out and driving or flying the next day.

Had a flight into Melbourne that was like that. Pilot wasn't rerouting an A380 so we approached sideways to the runway until almost touching down. Very odd landing while staring out my window directly down the runway.
