Huh? The 12 team playoff has the conference champions in. You don’t need divisions to have an SECCG. Top 2 teams go.

While I see what you are saying here and I agree 100%...do you really think that it isn't possible that they would do away with the conf champ games with the 12 team playoff and just take the 1st place team in the conference standings? I could see it.

For those talking about money....don't you think the conferences will see as money money as a conf champ game brings in with the 12 team playoff and potentially more. I could see a deal where each major conference gets to "sponsor" a playoff game and gets to keep the lion's share of the profit for that game to recoup what they lose from a conf champ game.

I'm not saying it will 100% happen, but it wouldn't surprise me.

You mean Alabama and whoever the polls pick for them to play... we all better hope they dont get rid of divisions.

Divisions are actually not what people are looking for now. Saw a post yesterday that the Big 10 championship should be tOSU/Michigan this year if there were no divisions.
