Shel, looking for tangible proof that isn't there isn't the point.

It's better to do what you can about the issue like voice frustration and create a narrative vs doing nothing

I think that’s a pretty good assessment. Zion continued to get no calls, which is frustrating. But getting a win with BI, CJ, Larry and Naji out is very nice.

I didn't say don't do it.

I said it's not terribly relevant if you do actually do it.

Can’t our Mods call the NBA office and make some noise? I think that’s part of the gig. Chicken’s got more pull than Mrs B.

That’s some quality backtracking. So now you’re not saying don’t do it. And that it’s not terribly relevant (I’m sure since you’re the numbers guy, you have examples to back this up right). So only do it if it’s really relevant??

So you still think doing it isn't worth it?

Check my first post on this 2 pages ago. Remarkably consistent, the legit opposite of back tracking. You're making yourself look silly now, trying way too hard with incorrect statements like this.

If by "now" you mean saying the same exact thing for 3 pages, yes... That's your big gotcha?

quick, name the last 3 times it happened. Go!
Gotta say, I'm completely shocked you didn't answer this. I thought for sure you'd give a quick answer and prove me wrong. Can't believe you didn't!

You said it happens all every year and yet you can't even give me a couple of quick examples of it happening.

I said plainly I can’t give specific examples of when Coach A made two statements in a post game presser about his player not getting reffed correctly and it did or didn’t change by a certain amount of free throws. Quit being disingenuous. I’m not the idiot who said because in the two games since CJ’s podcast, he’s only gotten three foul shots proves bringing it up won’t help. That’s beyond moronic and embarrassingly shortsighted. This is clearly about changing the way Zion is getting officiated as a general rule. Only an idiot (no offense) thinks it will happen overnight.

Don’t even try to seriously act like you haven’t seen officiating change in a series when one coach bitches after a game that his guys aren’t getting calls. I don’t even believe you’re that clueless.

Happens all the time guys... I just can't recall a single instance where it ever happened.

This is, uhh, not your best work.

Such a disingenuous a-hole. You should be ashamed, if you’re smart enough.

You don’t need to convince me. I’d work on Shel though.

Shaq averaged 10.1 FTs per game in '03-04.

Shaq averaged exactly 10.1 FTs per game the next 15 games after that interview.

Shaq averaged 10.9 FTs per game from game 1 to that game. Shaq averaged 9.4 FTs per game the rest of the season after that game.

Do you still think that example prove your point or does it help prove my point now?

unlike you, I provide facts.

Check my facts right above, now come back to me and tell me how that works out for Shaq... Go ahead, tell me, don't backtrack and run away, tell me how it worked out for Shaq...

Look at your facts dumbass. Shaq was already shooting double figures in free throws. Not one a night. Here’s a stat since you apparently can only see things with numbers:

NBA players over the last 25 years to average 10+ FGA per game in the “restricted area” and not average 10+ free throws: Russell Westbrook: 2019-20
Zion Williamson: 19-20, 20-21, 22-23
