Has anyone been? I’m not looking for other suggestions. Just curious if anyone has been and how they liked it. How crowded is the beach? How many kids were there? How were the restaurants on-site of nearby?
Some friends have a trip booked there already and I thought about meeting them there with the wife for a couples getaway.

Haven't stayed at RC, but have been to Provo multiple times in the last 15 years.
No crowd issues on the beach And the beach... almost pink sand that's finer than the sand they use at Augusta. The water is high in salinity, so you can float easily...
PS- that said, be prepared for $$$ sticker shock on everything.
PPS - The RC is in prime location if you wanna go buy snacks/drinks at the IGA (still expensive AF).

You should've seen my first choice. Too many baws... never could get approved.

My brother took his family about 3 months ago. They loved the Ritz

I just spent a week on Jost Van Dyke and the gouging of water taxis made me just want to fly to an island and not get off it. I looked at the restaurants at the Ritz and it’s about what I expected. I’d love to get groceries at the store for the room though. Provo just looks so much nicer than any other island I’ve been to.

How many watedr taxis did you take? They are expensive but so is fuel down there. We get a private ride from St. Thomas to Jost and then never leave the island unless we charter a boat for the day.

We did a day trip in between so 4 total. The fees are such a ripoff clearing customs. Depending on what day/time you get there limits you as well. Overall I thought Jost was ok but not my favorite.

I am headed to Virgin Gorda in June and our resort recommended Ocean Bliss, Island Time or Pelican Charters for a water taxi transfer from St Thomas. Would be interested in any insight you two can provide on those or a recommendation for one you have used and trust.
I am planning to use Ocean Bliss because they take care of transportation from the Airport to the boat and seem to streamline the process, but I have never been.
All the quotes were expensive, but I am looking at it as an experience that I think will help make the trip.

We used Ocean Dreams I think it was called one way. We met people a few hours after we landed at the harbor so we hung out at the beach bar near the boat until they got there but they handled their airport transportation too I think. It was incredibly fast with them I’ll say (in the rain) but they weren’t cheap at all. They were one of the few who could clear customs after hours which is why we used them.
Coming home we just used Frankie on Jost which was cheaper but still expensive. The ferry is only on certain days still and unreliable the week we went based on demand. Not many people stayed on island the week we went.
