re: Was this quote by Pat Buchanan in 1999 prescient or common sense?

Patrick Joseph Buchanan was called an isolationist freak. He 'appeared' as nuts as Ron Paul did.
He folded in with the political IN crowd at MSNBC & CNN. Or he would have been shunned.
I wish we could go back in time and have him win the Presidency. The media did ONE false story about one of his books claiming as if it were gospel that he was antisemitic.
And he was one and done.
Trump really pulled the curtain back on the media. The media's powerful words have been diminished. Thanks to Trump. So anyone can say anything they want about Trump I don't GAF. He pulled the curtain back on the media and the neocons.
When WJC won in a near landslide he did so with people waving the American flags in the crowds. He even said MAGA, he buffaloed the working class. Trump took the spiel & acted upon it.
Nowadays the masks are so far gone & off they don't even BS with the American flag, mom, the working class, and apple pie.
They have been captured by the Chinese Communist Party. So much infiltration. Would anyone at a Biden gym rally ever shout USA, USA?
Bannon made a good point. Remember Scott Walker was the demigod? There will always be a Scott Walker. There won't always be a Trump.

quote:I wouldn't say that. They still control what we see and hear.

As an example, still, no one knows who blew up nordstream and no one is even looking for the saboteurs. Ask yourself why that is

Rush Limbaugh had been doing that for 30 years before Trump ever appeared on the scene.

quote:
When WJC won in a near landslide
I assume you a referring to William Jefferson Clinton. If so, WJC was the furtherest from a landslide then any politician to ever run. It is why the media has to prop him and Hillary up as being popular.
WJC ran both times with a 3 party election. He did not ever get 50% of the vote (even Arkansas denied him) and less than 47% of the people showed up to vote.
Now do the math. Less than 12% of the American population ever cast a vote for WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON.
When his "popular" wife ran, a black man from Chicago took her down and a white man from New York, who had not ever held any kind of office, beat her like a drum.
I throw darts at pics of Bill and Hillary. Absolutley horrible people.
