Show me anybody with an easier path to the playoff than these two teams.

Their toughest game is against each other, and they play 1… sometimes 2 other good teams. The rest of the games they’re favored by at least 18 points

Michigan’s schedule is flat out embarrassing… at least Ohio State had the balls to schedule Notre Dame.

Probably Clemson

Not that anyone gives a shite but I get a kick out of years like this for Alabama. Lost 2 games on the last play of the game by 4 points and the narrative is Alabama has some major issues(there are some issues).

But none would be the wiser if they traded places with Clemson or Michigan. I’m fact the narrative would be the complete opposite.

If OSU wins, they will have wins over a top 10 Michigan, a top 10 PSU likely, and a top 15 ND (top 10 themselves potentially if they beat USC).

I think that's perfectly fine for a playoff team to have 3 top 15 wins.

TCU currently has a win over #15 and #24. OSU has wins over #11 and #13.

Wouldn't TCU have an easier path this year? If Clemson slips in they will have 2 top 20 wins and that's it

OSU goes to ND, home against PSU, @Wisky, @Michigan. Probably 3-4 ranked teams again and 3 of those 4 are on the road

I don't really understand this. UGA currently has a win over Tennessee and Oregon. OSU will have a better resume with top wins than UGA if they win this weekend. UGA could take that over again they win the SECCG of course.

Penn State went into Jordan Hare and curb stomped Auburn.

That same LSU team that beat Alabama was down 17-0 to Auburn before Harsin decided to choke the game away by not attempting field goals.

I probably shouldn’t have lumped OSU with Michigan.

Colorado State

UConn

It’s like they went down the list of the worst FBS teams from last year and said “hey let’s schedule these teams”

OSU had ND, and they were preseason top 5. Not OSU fault they lost a few. Michigan on the other hand should be flat out embarrassed.

Michigan almost always has had something like ND or a Pac 12 team in the non-conference. There was supposed to be a home-and-home with UCLA this year and next, but Michigan bought it out three years ago. Not sure what the deal was, maybe they did turn into pussies. Can't blame them for the rest of the conference other than OSU sucking. The west really needs to pick it up.

ETA, during the Harbaugh era, Michigan had:
Utah
Colorado
Florida
ND
ND
Washington (cancelled for COVID)
Washington

Cry more.

I do believe he meant to target Michigan with this one. Easily the worst fan base around. They walking around like they are the kings of football cuz they beat Hawaii.

The fanbase has been broken and jaded for 10 years. Last year and this year have relieved the pain somewhat.

Eh. Didn't they barely squeak it out against TAMU?

They would play USC repeatedly under the Carroll years.

And Alabama and LSU played Austin Peay and UAB respectively in late November when everyone is fighting for a playoff spot.

Alabama has played:

Utah State
UL Monroe
Vandy
Austin Peay

Pac12 has some pretty good teams this year...don't let your assumptions blind Joel Katy called it the 2nd best Conference this year...USC, UCLA, Utah, Oregon, Washington.
