Bunch of fire service trucks on both sides of the interstate and multiple burn spots in the grass between the travel lanes. Anyone have details on what’s happening?

some idiot threw cigarette out the window and burned all the grass on side of road, so it made so much smoke that it stopped all traffic while they put it out

That’s what I thought at first too. Just seemed odd that there were about 15 spots spanning 3 miles and some were pretty far apart

They’re always burning trees and shite in between RPCC and Cabelas. Idk if it’s dry enough for a fire to get out of control but maybe that’s what happened

i dont know 100% but most likely cars picked up embers and spread them around
then again maybe it could just be some trash out there starting grass fires for no reason at all
