Bought a new cell phone...

Had to show ID
Got a new job last week - had to show ID
Walked into Costco yesterday - had to show a Costco ID
Will buy an adult beverage this evening - will have to show ID
I early voted in the Georgia Elections a few weeks ago, had to show ID - gave me a little sticker too!
I'll vote again as soon as I am able - bet I have to show ID
A person cannot operate as a productive citizen in this country without a valid ID. All States need to require a voter ID. It's not racist.
It's as if you told someone you have to wear pants to vote. Libs would talk about how expensive pants were for black people, that black people didn't have any pant stores - they lived in a pant desert. It's just not part of their culture going way back to the mother land - no pants wearing back then. And it's cultural imperialism to force them to wear pants to vote. Blue Jean Crow laws they'd call them.
SNL should do a "you must wear pants to vote skit", the show would have another funny moment after the Chapelle monologue.

Dodging tickets/fines at the DMV is what no ID voting is all about.
It is very easy to get a valid ID, but for some people who don't pay their bills can be very expensive.

It takes very few credentials to walk into the DMV and just get a simple state issued ID. Never understood what the big deal was. Some of the poorest among us even have passports.

Maybe if they make a "must wear pants to vote" law, they can also stipulate you must have pockets and in that pocket you have a wallet and in that wallet you have an ID.

I have an existing account with Xfinity Mobile. My Samsung Galaxy 9+ is on it's last legs, got a new Pixel 7. I was inside a brick and mortar store.
The charges were going to that existing account - not to my charge card. They wanted to make sure that I was the owner of the account I was charging the phone to. I'm glad they do check.

You have to show an ID to rent a vacuum cleaner from grocery store but not to vote. Chew on that a bit.
