Has anyone in here ever drove to Atlanta for SEC Championship and actually drove to the stadium? Where did you park? Was it safe and secured? I seen Mercedes Benz Stadium has parking passes but was seeing if anyone they had a parking tower or something close because we plan on going park close the Friday also. Thanks in advance!

I have not for the new stadium. I went to the 2019 Peach Bowl and just ubered to nearby downtown and hung out at bars and restaurants and made the short walk over. Parked near the Georgia Dome several times over the years. Just handed some cash over for close by lots run by entrepreneurs. I’ll be there and plan to Uber over from the hotel this go around as well. Just so much less hassle to deal with

You can buy a parking pass ahead of time. I bought AJC Lot because it's smaller & easier to exit.

Centennial Yards Lot B & Ruby Lot are big lots below street level that allow tailgating.

I don't recommend buying in one of the larger decks because they tend to take a while to exit.

In 2019 I parked in the Centennial Yards Lot. It was called the Gulch back then. It is a ground level lot with lots of tailgaiting very close to the stadium. Vehicle was fine and it was easy to get out of. Will probably park there again this year.

Uber or Marta. I Uber from my house in Vinings to and from without issue.

Surface lot on the corner of centennial park drive and Andrew young Blvd across from the Waffle House is always a good spot - close to hotel bathrooms and bars and restaurants and lots of tailgating and a short walk - parked there in 2018 and all was good
