If the announcers introduce Nick, we should all stand and silently turn our backs to him. I bet it has never been silent in Death Valley!

If you ever change jobs and then decide that you don't like your new job, your family should treat you that way too.

C'mon...don't be that guy.

LSU fans don't have a passionate dislike for Saban because he changed jobs. This isn't about Saban "changing jobs." It's about him choosing to come back to the college game in OUR conference and in OUR DIVISION of our conference.

Fine...he failed miserably in the NFL. Too bad. But when he chose to have his agent help secure the deal with BAMA (while openly denying it was going on) he became a huge dickhead. Let me rephrase...he was always a huge dickhead. We tolerated that behavior while he was here because he was OUR huge dickhead.

That's not even close to an accurate comparison. It would be as if you left a town business to go to the city; decided you hated the city; so you decide to move back to the same town and work at a different business in the same sector, and you bust your arse to try to drive your old company out of business. Can't imagine why your former co-workers would have any sort of animosity towards you...

It was pretty quite on Saturday night. I sit in Section 416 about 12 rows from the top and you could actually hear the Tulane cheerleaders.

Don't be stupid. You guys had a coach, remember? In fact, one that you all LOOOOOOOVED because he was so much better than Saban. So, it's not like Saban could go back to LSU. And you're going to fault him for returning to the best conference in the country to a traditional football powerhouse school instead of what, going to coach for peanuts in the Big East? You're all acting like children.

teague is right...the guy decided he was much better in college and couldn't handle the pros, so he went to the college that gave him the most money and the best chance to succeed...IT'S a BUSINESS...

Which means the paying LSU fans can do whatever they want. They don't have to show respect for a mercenary.

damn i hate to agree with a bamer.

plus i am glad he is gone. bama fans will find out how aggrevating it is every year when the national media starts in about saban being at the top of the list to replace so and so.

You guys were no better with Dennis Franchione leaving Bama for Texas A&M....so stfu...and that wasn't even with an in conference rival.

This from the same dumb fan base who believed that fake postgame speech that Saban made in the 2002 Kentucky game locker room.

I believe it was a friend of GeauxTigers who wrote that speech.

Thank you. The bumble bastards need to just shut the hell up because the whining they did about Franchione. Oh, and they can go straight to hell, but that was my feeling before Franchione as well.

#1) We ain't family. The people of the state of Louisiana are his former employers. HUGE difference. He dosn't consider LSU family either, he called them Coonasses remember?

If he left his job for a new job, didn't like it, and went to a different conference it wouldn't have been a big deal at all.

#2) When he changed jobs to go to a rival, he raised the ante. He deserves whatever anger he gets thrown at him on Saturday.

Everyone wished him well going to Miami.
