I think the seat just got hotter for Tuberville and Weiss.
How will Auburn's allowing UGA to come from behind affect Tuberville's life expectancy for the War Eagle-Tigers?
ND almost allowed Navy to come from behind in the last five minutes.

Not that anyone cares, but the Utah State firing is official, and Rocky Long inexplicably just quit at New Mexico

if we lose to Arkansas, you have to think that it will undoubtedly get warm for Miles... way too much talent to be playing this poorly, even with us losing Perrilloux before the season...
our lack of preparedness (almost to FEMA-like levels), inability to call the most effective plays on either side of the ball, and the inexplicable use of Lee so long did us in this season, and if Miles wants to remain employed here, he better right the ship rather quickly, because we sure as hell cannot afford to lose any recruits from this mess....

I LOVE LSU. I was thrilled to win the MNC last year. I loved the fact we went for so many 4th downs and were sucessful.
However, looking back, I feel we were poorly coached. Why would we put ourselves into a situation to have that many fourth downs? It seems every game was a heart attack game.
With that being carried forward to this year, things are unraveling at an unbelievable pace. We need a complete overhaul, IMO, starting with much more discipline in every facet.
I wonder....are we developing any of our players?

phil, I wonder, too. Let's talk about Jefferson. He appeared to have limited knowlege of the plays. WHY? It is obvious that he has the most raw talent. Could Miles not be aware of that? Was Miles overcalling the OC and was not aware that Jefferson was not ready for some of the plays? I wonder! I know that Jimbo did not like his jumping in and making too many calls. The D looked more confused. Just crazy....at this time of the season.

Flash, my thoughts exactly. After seeing JJ play last nite and hearing game after game that he is not ready, I was blown away.
No, he was not perfect. But what could it have been this year with him having most of the snaps in practice? At least he doesn't have that "deer in the headlights" look. His throwing motion and quick release, along with mobility make him someone to consider.
I realize the coaching staff gets to see much more than we do....wait....or do they?

Bill Snyder is going back to coach K State. Sounds made up, but that is what ESPN is reporting.

Scott Stoker out at Northwestern La and the Co-DCs are out at ULM. Co did not work for CW at ULM. Has it worked anywhere?

Tubby has gotten a lot of traction off of Alabama's decade of probation. He is on notice. After the Alabama humiliate the Barners on Saturday, it could be over for him.

Consider the humiliation complete, and Tubby's arse planted firmly on the hot seat.
I don't care for the way he and his staff teach and/or encourage the use of illegal tactics such as clipping/chop blocking. This can easily lead to long-term injury to other team's players, as you are well aware. I for one would like to see him gone.
