It was the lack of adjustments made. When your QB doesn’t have time or can’t make his reads then you have to adjust to a scheme where he has one primary and or quick throws.

Special Teams!!
Polian needs to go. The Fla St loss was primarily due to ST break downs. UT loss wasnt helped by ST either

Weakness is the OL. I know it's late in the season followed by a big game but I saw Frazier looking inside a few times when we would've been fine if he saw the stunt or blitz.

I guarantee Daniels and Denbrock didn't trust the protection. That's why we ran so much.

Inconsistency. When we are at our best we can beat anybody. When we are at our worst we can lose to a 6-6 Arkansas team.

Depth and experience for sure! They have no rotation on the d line! If Mekhi Wingo wasn’t the best conditioned big man on the planet we would be in huge trouble. This dude is like a marathon running D tackle!

ST, but JD needs to mature some and gain confidence in his arm and receivers

O line and DB’s ability to cover deep down field against elite WR’s.

The same things we thought it would be coming into the season. It’s why I’m happy LSU is playing Georgia in the SEC championship. They are great and it will be a very tough game to win but Tennessee is the one team in the sec that can exploit both of these weaknesses. Most teams can only do one or the other or neither.

They just weren’t ready for the cold.can’t throw when you can’t feel your fingers. His QBR during that 3 game gauntlet was incredible. Accuracy was just fine.

Tossup between Daniels fear of throwing and a terrible O line (because of youth.)

is the fan base who can not just accept we are having this remarkable season in year one when we were picked to finish fifth in the West. Somehow as true Cajuns we elect to insert some type of negativity into every aspect of positive momentum.

people on here just can’t wait to pounce on Daniels when given the opportunity. These guys really want to hate him so bad. It’s pretty sad

I would 100% take these guys as my starting qb over Daniels and I think our team’s offense would be much better with any of them taking snaps:

Bryce Young
Hendon Hooker
Stetson Bennett
Will Levis

One of these guys has a Heisman Trophy. Another will almost certainly be a Heisman finalist this year, and might even win it.

Stetson Bennet might be a Heisman finalist (he’s a long shot at the moment) but he’s a returning national championship QB on the consensus #1 team in the country.

As for Will Levis..

Levis:
Passing: 154/233 (66.1%), 2,012 yards, 16 TD / 9 INT
Rushing: 62 att, -123 yards (-2.0 ypc), 2 TD
Total: 1,889 yards, 18 TD, 9 INT

Daniels:
Passing: 195/283 (68.9%), 2,080 yards, 14 TD / 2 INT
Rushing: 150 att, 629 yards (4.2 ypc), 10 TD
Total: 2,709 yards, 24 TD, 2 INT

I don’t for a second think Will Levis would be a better QB at LSU than Jayden Daniels. His turnovers are a huge part of Kentucky’s problems.

Not that it really matters, because the point of the post you replied to was that Daniels is far from “hot garbage.” If your contention is that he’s the 5th best QB in the SEC you’re still saying he’s in the top half of the conference. I don’t think that qualifies as “hot garbage.”

When the other team punts the ball and we are actually going to field it, everybody's heart skips a few beats until you know it's a clean catch.

That alone tells you special teams. Not nearly as bad but still a little bad when we kick/punt the ball on coverage. Same thought. Special teams.
