Season one is watchable, but I can’t shake the feeling that I have seen this before. How many dozens of TV shows are basically the same plot. Young girl naïve to the world gets superpowers and has to cope with being a teenager/indestructible force? Picking up Buffy the Vampire vibes - Bigley.

Finished S1. Mixed. Feels like they switched writers in the middle somewhere because the story just seemed to fall apart. Nothing against the actors, but the characters just aren't doing it for me. Ava's arc isn't compelling at all. She goes from bedridden orphan who got done wrong, to superpowered being but without any real purpose.

There's some low-key humor there, which I liked. If this is the 'best' of the 2 seasons so far, might have to dip out.
