Lost hope for this country

Despite outrageous inflation, gas prices, grocery prices, being locked down, open borders pouring illegals in, Democrats did much better than expected.
The one issue they counted on worked for them, Roe v Wade. Saw some of the network exit polls and was shocked that 80% of women under 30 were outraged about losing their "reproductive rights".

I can’t believe people are so desperate to kill babies.

Pretty easy for libs when the media harps this false talking point daily.

They're slaves to government money and products of a communist education system. This was never about abortion. Plenty of these sad fools still obsess over killing infants, but that's hardly what led to this.

Because where we lost, we put up shitty candidates that were held up by a Trump endorsement. Put up great candidates with a Trump endorsement and whole different ballgame.
Now the AZ Lake stuff, seems shady AF.

It plays well with the young crowd.
I guarantee none of them know what a fetus looks like at various weeks nor have never seen the procedure done.
Dems get low info voters, and most of the country is like that.

Same. How do people like fetterman get any votes at all.
I'm so depressed right now. We have children in charge of ruining this country right now and no way to stop the bleeding.

Proof that women shouldn't be able to vote. Abortion is still legal, and pretty widely available, in most states.

Seriously? How are you surprised that the vast majority of women who have only known a world where the right to an abortion is considered constitutionally protected by Roe would be really upset when that constitutional protection is taken away? Before you say Roe was bad law or abortion is not found in the constitution, know it doesn’t matter. It was considered settled law by virtually everyone and constitutionally protected. Even some of the justices who voted to overturn it said as much in their confirmation hearings. That is the expectation people had.
Please note, I’m not trying to argue the validity of Dobbs overturning Roe. I’m just stating the mindset of these women. They fully believe a constitutional right was taken away, and they are pissed. How would conservatives feel if a liberal majority interpreted the second amendment to not allow private carry? They would be pissed because something was taken away. People don’t like existing rights being clawed back, particularly if they are longstanding. It feels fundamentally unfair. That’s what those women feeling.

Republicans made the mistake of thinking women are ok with the government entering their doctors office.
They also need to get over themselves and realize the country isn’t as religious as they think it is.

In most states is the problem. It scares people as it used to be all states.

This to me makes no sense. It’s a remarkably low percentage of women who will ever have an abortion, so you let that issue usurp all the others? Mind boggling
