Mason got a lot of sh*t for his early season mistakes but the guy is a freshman and he’s getting better every week. His tears tonight really showed me how much he cares for this program and I think that is what Coach Kelly’s teams will be made of. A mixture of elite talent and blue collar kids who love LSU and will work their tails off.

He had a great block on Daniels’ run after struggling badly with them earlier in the game. If he can get better as a blocker before next season, he will be an elite TE and a perfect fit for Denbrock’s offense.
