Was basically playing lead guitar on bass and ridiculously intricate bass lines in every song while singing. Definitely one of my favorites! His voice doesn’t bother me like he does others. Those who hate his “screeching” vocals ought to listen to Permanent Waves and everything after.

Richard Sterban from the Oak Ridge Boys can actually sing a lead vocal. Most bass singers can harmonize but lack a good lead voice.
