This is the point. The election deniers (BTW, I have a foot in each camp) pretend that all other things were equal. They were not.

The day after the election I was in Houston working out at an apartment gym in City Center. There was a 30ish woman there, nice looking (sorry no pics), and Canadian as it turns out. Naturally the discussion turned to the election the night before. This otherwise pleasant woman, who wasn’t even American, became so animated in her hatred for Trump that I uncharacteristically just moved on with a non-committal response. I was afraid she might come unglued.

The passion for Trump was running high, but the passion against him was too. As I’ve often pointed out, they certainly cheated their asses off. As they have in every close election of my lifetime that includes a typical inner-city. It was easier this time because of the pandemic rules relaxation.
