Charter schools are for profit. They are a drain on the public education funds. Charter schools receive their vouchers either $7,000 or $7500 per student on Oct. 1. They then immediately remove the students that are not up to snuff. These kids are then sent to public schools, but the money does not have to returned. The public school receives the same amount per student as the charter school. But unfortunately the public schools are not reimbursed for the new students sent over form the charter school essential reducing the funding per student in the public school system and the charter school pockets the extra money. This process happens again after Christmas break again with the students that can't cut the mustard so that the Charter school can boast about higher test scores and how great they are. Last fact some charter schools are charging for in class learning virtual is free, but to attend you must pay out of pocket.! This is highly illegal, The company from Florida is being investigated for this!

We've never paid a dollar, and I've never heard of kids getting kicked out.
