I'm not getting the Elsie's love .... I've visited while in town a few times the last few years and last holiday season for lunch, which was gross. Maybe I ordered the wrong items. But it was bad.
For a mix of interesting atmosphere, menus and good food:
Bldg 5
Cocha
Overpass Merch.
Chow Yum Phat
great meals, but out a bit:
Maison Lacour
Nino's

Was kinda shitty when we went a few months ago. They had small paper menus with like 25% of the regular items.
The lady told us we had to order our apps with our entrees together because of staffing even though they had 2 waitresses for 5 tables.
And they put us all on top of each other for no reason (was like a Wednesday night).
Food was average. I used to love the place but the latest experience was meh. J Alexander’s would have been a better value.
