Darron Reed, Dashawn Womack, Jaxon Howard, Joshua Mickens.

All defensive linemen. Beef up one or two of them.

Plenty edge commits, will probably add mass to Reed and Womack and transition them to inner D linemen.

Reed is a DT, Womack is a a DE, Mickens and Howard are Edge/OLB. We are trying to add 1 more DT and Tausili Akana who is another Edge/LB.

Five seniors on roster next year in the interior.

I’d get one more interior to get him ready for 2024 when all those guys leave.

Next years dline looks like it should be stout again, especially if Maason Smith is back 100%. Ojulari is the only one i think that might leave early. Everyone else should be back.

Smith and Wingo the interior starters. Guillory and Roy being experienced depth. The you have Fitz West, Tygee hill, and Bryce Langston behind them. Thats not counting any freshman coming into this class that might play.

The year after it could be a step back though depending on how the younger guys develop. You will probably lose your top 4 interior guys. Numbers will be fine but i would imagine they look to the portal for experience.

I agree that another interior would be a good add, but you may see Jones there when Heard is ready to start at tackle.

Womack and Mickens are EDGE. Howard can beef up to play DE. Reed is your DT. All HIGH quality DL.

Washington is being worked on for a flip and there are a few instate guys that haven’t been offered who they are monitoring.

Kelly and Davis are all about putting the best 5 out there. There is no doubt in my mind that 2024 barring injury, Jones, Campbell, and Heard will all be starting. Jones will go inside with Heard and Campbell as the tackles. West should be groomed to be the starting center in 2024 and if Dellenger leaves Mubenga or Chester will have a guard spot.

Tackle looks good.

But here is what the line looks like in 2024…..not next year. But 2024. Yes. You have to recruit for the fire and remember that transfers in/out will change this drastically.

I think we see at least one DT from the portal. Another Wingo would be outstanding
