Some fukery going on here - this seems to be a pattern with stories like this

MANDITORY Building Codes in ALL States require that ALL Glass Doors are to be Safety Tempereed Glass. This is like the 5th story similar to this where glass that was REQUIRED to be Tempered was NOT Tempered in photos

That door is NOT Safety Tempered Glass

Safety Tempered Glass would look like this

What does this mean? I have no idea but that glass had been changed out to Non Satefty Tempered Glass before the so called attack.

is any of the broken glass INSIDE? If it's all outside it was broken from the inside...

The broken glass would be on the inside and outside and I seen none on either inside or outside

My firm served a lawsuit against Paul Pelosi one time in SF after attempting to serve at other residences—Napa, Georgetown. They weren’t home, but staff were, & multiple law enforcement officers were on the perimeter. Break-in is odd given this level of security.

I've worked with glass for 20+ years.. I kind of know what I am talking about. Why would one of the most important people in politics not have up to date building codes on her modern house?

So have I. Looks like tempered with a security film on it.

I noticed that too. What if the intruder was trying to escape?

go watch videos of people breaking tempered with film on it. If you broke it with a hammer and pulled the hammer back out the claw would basically pull the glass toward you. Glass dust and small amounts of glass would be on the outside regardless. the glass isn't all over the place because of the film holding it together. That looks completely normal for someone breaking something like that.

Probably an older door with original glass.

That also ain’t a hammer sized hole on filmed glass. That’s a foot or another larger object. Hammer size with girl wouldn’t be much bigger than the head of the hammer.

I would expect bullet proof glass.

If those doors have any kind of age to them then they would not have safety glass. Still a ton of old wooden doors around in older houses with regular glass. My crews reglaze windows and doors in vacant houses constantly that get broken into.
