I don’t think you are wrong. However, if you are starting a thread, put a little more effort than this.

Why do you think that?
SEC will get, at minimum, 8 bids into the NCAA tournament. LSU will be in the top 8 of the SEC.
The top 5 of the conference are pretty clear in AL, AR, AU, TN, and UK. After that, there is a grouping of about 4 teams (UF, LSU, A&M, Ole Miss/Mizzou). LSU and UF have the best rosters out that grouping and I think LSU's edges out UF's.
I believe LSU and UF will be competing for 6/7 in the conference, but both will make the tourney. A&M's roster is not that great and they are getting way too much credit for their hot finish at the end of last season, including their run in the NIT, which almost never carries any weight.

I'm hoping we go something like 11-1 in the non-conf early season before we hit the SEC slate with Arky and @UK to start.

I'll be thoroughly disappointed if LSU doesn't have at least this record at the end of non-con before SEC play. They play no one. Their only possibility for a loss should come in the Thanksgiving tourney where they have a chance to face a possibly decent team in the finals.
Wake Forest may give them a game in December; but LSU by far has a more talented roster and should have better coaching than them.

Watch out for Wofford. They can freaking shoot it

The most the SEC has ever gotten into the Tournament is 8…one time (2018). So it is hard to say the league will get “at minimum”, 8. It’s more likely to be 5-7.
LSU’s non-conference schedule doesn’t look particularly impressive, so there probably won’t be a lot of room for many losses. Fortunately, the SEC schedule doesn’t look as daunting as last year. Downside is they play Arkansas, Alabama, A&M, Florida 2x. Upside is they get Auburn and Tennessee at home.
I’m not expecting a NCAA birth. But I won’t be surprised at all if come later February/ early March we aren’t checking Bracketology every day
