Made a trade for my first ever Gibson

I have a guitar that is kind of my daily driver but then I also buy and sell guitars as a hobby, don't really make anything but I like the hunt and meeting new people.
My newest acquisition is a Gibson Hummingbird Pro that I traded for in St Louis, MO. Solid mahogany back and sides and a spruce top with an LR Baggs Element pickup.
Will probably move this one as well, but it's a gorgeous guitar, sounds really good but needs new strings so I'm going to put on a new set of Straight Up Strings when I get home.
It is odd to me that Gibson attached the Hummingbird name to these as they seem more like a mahogany Songwriter.

I have the same rig. Real nice bright tone. Have a handful of other acoustic and a few electric. Don’t play plugged anymore. Can barely strum acoustic anny more but not ready to completely give it up Any idea how or where I might sell my electrics. Think I have a tele a strat a 335 and a Nashville. All are stored as I live in an assisted living now. Any advice is appreciated

You may check to see if there is a music store in your area that takes consignment used instruments. We have one here in Baton Rouge.
The basics of consignment are you agree on a minimum selling price and a percentage of which the consignee will keep for his efforts. Because his reward is a percentage based commission, it is in the seller's best interest to exceed your minimum price and shoot for top dollar.
The advantage of consignment is your instruments are in a public viewing area exposed to retail foot traffic, and you don't have to deal with corksniffers, tirekickers and/or potential armed robbers using means like Craigslist or Facebook ads to take advantage of you. Or your friends and caretakers in your AL community for that matter, which may forbid buy/sell/trade activity by and for its residents.

What have you got and how much are you asking?

That LR Baggs Element set-up is really nice.
I like the hummingbird engraving on the pickguard though. Why do some not have it?

This isn't a "real" Hummingbird, it's a Hummingbird Pro but really has very little in common with a Hummingbird.
Basically just a mahogany Songwriter.
