There's one thing that can't be underestimated: Not very noticeable since the Saban years, IMO, has LSU had coaches that have made meaningful in-game adjustments that have mattered. These coaches have done it and they've done it well. Back the truck up for Matt House now. Because with a full recruiting cycle or two, his defense will once again be a premier LSU defense of old that was feared by many. And, my God, Harold Perkins.

I agree.

But it would be nice to show up in the first quarter instead of playing catch up

Anyone else see all the early game threads about how horrible House & the LSU D was & that House is a BUM?

Talk about some mental midgets.

Aranda was known for his excellent halftime adjustments.

Dave Aranda was masterful at managing the game. I also thought John Chavis was a great DC. We have had excellent defensive coaching this entire century, except for a brief period under Les and when Pelini was here.

I'm sure any moment now those pee tapes will drop, the debunked Russia gate conspiracy theories will retroactively be real, and if none of that then maybe you can finally get him for taxes or something irrelevant. I'm sorry the party that wants to kill babies is about to get stomped, you eugenicist. STFU, go back to the BlueAnon board, and quit being a miserable frick.

You both are correct...Dave Aranda was/is a defensive genius. I guess what I mean is that, to me, the changes he made did not resonate as much on the field to the point that it legitimately changed the course of the game like it seems to be now. And that is certainly not a knock on Aranda - I like him alot.

Aranda made adjustments. Maybe the exception but he did.
