Non residents are responsible for around 70% of the license generated conservation revenue in Mississippi. They need to crank up resident fees so they are paying their fair share.

We pay state income taxes, property taxes, and vehicle registration etc. I pay a good bit more than a $380 hunting license fee. We own property that we hunt on and live on.
They have no reason to lower the license fees for NR. It could be $1k a year and folks would still pay.
