Pete Carmichael if not very good as an Offensive Coordinator and should be replaced immediately!
We let Hendricks go to Cincinatti while the production of our two defensive ends has fallen greatly. Watch Hendricks on any game and you'll see his motor never quits!
Honey Badger, bless him, is just going through the motions right now and becoming a liability more than an asset.

But let me stop with the negativity...I do have something positive to say. If we continue on as we are playing now, we will have a decent pick in the draft.

Saints are actually scoring a lot of points the last few games.

It's turnovers and penalties that are the problem. PC doesn't control Dalton forcing a throw over the middle or not seeing the LB dropping into coverage.

I've been impressed with the Saints scoring 25, 39, 26, and 34 in four straight games. That will probably be top 5 or so. And that is with Andy Dalton at QB and a depleted WR group.

Now, that does go hand in hand with the defense being awful. Seattle didn't have a single drive last more than 3 minutes. And 17 points game in garbage time last night.

There's a lot wrong with this team, but I think the OC position is down that list.

At the risk of sounding sarcastic do yourself a favor and google (Saints first round draft pick 2023).

Not good enough! You need the offense to score more than the opposing team's offense when your defense is so inept.

The only offensive complaint is they give the ball to the other team too much. Turnovers have been ridiculous. Is that a Pete problem??

Our scoring offense is tied for 3rd in the NFL. Our scoring defense is around 27th.

Who is that? Trey Hendrickson, however, was injury prone in NOLA. Never played a full season. From 2017 to 2020 he played in 45 of 64 games. Still, I would have liked to keep him here.

Really?

Sacks from 2021-present

Trey Hendrickson - 22 Games, 16.5 (14,2.5)
Cam Jordan - 23 Games, 17 (12.5,4.5)

Eh, no worse than what we had before he got here.

Not sure what two defensive guys have to do with the OC though.

You made good points except for this one here. I was very much in the lets not pay Marcus Williams the contract he got crowd, but his play was definitely better than what we are getting with Mathieu. I was not sad to see Jenkins retire but even he was better
Hell if PJ Williams wasn't on IR I feel like he would be giving about the same production and much more effort for about 1/5 the price.

I wasn't clear, I meant assuming Jenkins and Marcus Williams were not going to be here.

They’re scoring a good amount but also going through long stretches where they can’t get in the end zone. That, and huge defensive breaksdowns, keeps putting us in bad situations

It’s hard to coordinate an offense with so many key players out. He tried conservative and didn’t work then he let him throw and that didn’t work either. Our defense is without key players as well. I just think this is what you get until we get everyone back. Sucks to be us
