spraying for pest overhead

I have a wooden pergola with a cover on top of it. The spiders are relentless despite having a pest company that treats. I'm sick of webs on everything out there. Was gonna spray with suspend. Any tips on spraying overhead without taking a bath in chemicals?

Wear long sleeves, pants, a hat, mask, goggles, and stay upwind as much as possible.
Some backpack sprayers can shoot a stream upwards of 20 ft so you can at least get a decent angle of attack and not be directly under your target area.

I have had more luck with Bifen IT for spiders.

If you have a leaf blower tape you sprayer so the tip is just off the edge of the blower. Lock the sprayer stream on and run the blower. Your now have a wide broadcast mist shooting 25+ feet.

Also work in sections to let your current spray settle before moving to the next section

You have a 8 ft ladder you can use to get you closer to where you need to spray?
Suspend SC is good for spiders - I want to say it has a longer residual time than bifenthrin but I may be mistaken.

We have a 18' tall outside covered entry way in front of the house. Wasps love it. Wasp spray only reaches if I get up 6 or 7 feet on a ladder.
Got me a simple tube soaker toy for kids. Clear tube with plunger and holds probable 10 ounces of water. Come out in a 1" stream. Welp.... it's the wasps arse now. Can fill it up and and stand under overhang and absolutely blast it with a single shot of Spectracide mix. Before the stuff comes down I am out of the way.
Sound like you want a fine spray. However if you want volume and want to reach up high or far this toy blasts 25 feet straight up with no problem.
