We’re not talking semantics. It’s very much worth distinguishing the two. Pedophilia is sexual attraction to children who have not even hit puberty yet. That is exponentially worse than a 24 year old sleeping with a physically mature 14 year old.

The foundation of libertarianism is consent and voluntary action. Children are not assumed to have the capacity to consent because they lack the maturity to truly understand and comprehend what they’re agreeing to.

And yet people believe they're mature enough to have an abortion, pick which parent they want to live with and a host of other decisions. We're especially concerned, as we should be, about decisions regarding sex because we have moral norms regarding sex.

You're trying to argue with the wrong person; I KNOW laws enforce morals. I'm talking about the "you can't legislate morality" crowd, and there's a high concentration of them in the libertarian circles.
