What's the deal with maintenance or if something breaks within the equipment?

I know you posted to someone else, but in reading on the facebook pages, this is where it can get a little irritating. They outsource this stuff so it can take weeks to get repairs. So you could possibly be down for a while if something breaks.

It works really well. You can create multiple profiles. Each profile has an intial strength assessment which helps set the target weight for exercises. When working out, you can add a profile as a partner.

No need to swap plates or adjust weight pins! Tonal adjusts the weights automatically, depending on the user.
Yeah this is a pretty awesome feature.

I have one and we love it. Myself, my husband and all three of my boys have profiles. Definitely cheaper than us having gym memberships and we don’t have to leave home. We purchased it last Nov and have used it a ton. So easy to jump on in the morning and do a quality 30 min workout and be done. Or come home from work and do a yoga or stretching workout.
We had one issue where one of the control modules was misplaced and they shipped me a new one free of charge. So I’d say the customer service is top notch.

I drove out to a Tonal demo site and man that machine is intuitive. "Digital weight" is definitely different than I thought. You don't get that initial bump like you can with free weights. It's a pretty amazing product from what I can tell. Might be getting one for the home gym soon. The dealer said black Friday deals are $300 off, and they're offering that right now too.
He said to order in the next two weeks if you want the 1-3 week turnaround, once the holidays hit it goes to 6-12 weeks.

Just an update, the turnaround on the order was super fast. Ordered on 11/17, installed on the 25th. The sales guy told me I just beat the Christmas rush.
So far it's kicking my arse, and I have a garage gym with free weights. My biggest compliment is the no brainer programs you can enroll in. Couldn't be any easier once you establish what your goals are. Second, hot chick instructors.
Negatives? Obviously the subscription fee. And I'm curious if I'll max out if weight. The max is 150 "digital" lbs. I'm at 135lbs right now and it feels a lot heavier than that. So I do think I'll get there soon.
But overall, it saves me close to 20-30 minutes on workouts because it's really efficient. You just sit down and go.
So far so good. I'll update in a few months and see if I still love it.
