To OP, that's an axis. Once u fill the freezer with some axis meat, u won't want anymore whitetail.

Technically and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (which I probably am) but Axis Deer are considered exotics with no seasons and can be taken year round, should have shot him OP!

It started on texasbowhunter site and eventually got whacked.
Some professional photographer took a picture of an axis doe and thought it was a “megafawn”. People started trolling him and it spilled onto facebook. Pretty funny at the time.
