No, it’s solely a trump thing.
Democrats have always been the Russia/USSR sympathizers.

The hate of Russia is ethnic and goes back to the days of the czars pushing folks into the Pale.

I have no way of knowing if this is true but according to a friend of mine who has been to Russia. He claims that their is a long history of Russians throwing Gay ppl off the roof of buildings.
