It doesn't matter what Walker does. The moment he is named the starter he will become the 2nd or 3rd best QB on the team.

The WRs may see the talent, but will Les? I mean BK.

You make a good point….but, CBK will get the time to build an O-line that is competitive. Likely year 3. But in the meantime there isn’t any reason lose games that MIGHT be more competitive.

What do we have to gain by playing him this season? This, unfortunately is a throw-away season where we are attempting to re-build the program. We will do well to make it to a bad bowl, much less win the bad bowl trophy. Our OL is bad at best, so playing him this year is asking for injury.

One can dream. Do you think JD5 will "develop" between this season and the next? It would be a fricking miracle. He has had 30+ starts. It appears that he does not understand the game based on his decisions. He does not throw accurately. Aside from his effort, I see no reason to have him play QB. None.

So a freshman with a much better arm doesn't have it...with one start...but you watching a 4 year starter play like this guy does, and you have no issues ..but the freshman is done. Hmm

I, like most on here, watched a much improved OL against both State and Auburn. QB actually had lots of time to pass. It was bad this week, but we had a couple starters out, and I don't think it's a coincidence that we played a team that actually was all in stacking box daring Daniels to beat them passing. He couldn't...despite Tenn having a pass d of 128/132.

Nuss hate is real.

The highlight will be next year, Howard needs a full year to grow and we shouldn’t judge so harshly when Nuss has been throw under the bus w two shite teams thus far

Does anyone remember Joe Burrow in 2018

Are you kidding this board Joe was miles ahead of JD in reading defensesand had a great arm both of which JD does not have and after 4 years of playing 40+ games will never have and/or develop in the next 6 games.

Then Nuss doesn’t have it either.

That’s an opinion based on an assumption that Kelly has made the right decision. I understood it when the season started. Things have changed now.

Edit- I’m not necessarily saying ur wrong. Nuss is flawed too but we are at a point where our offense scares no one.

you said you either have it or you don't

Nuss routinely doesn't look like he has it.
