Saban took over a program that had been in the dark ages.

We’re now a couple of years removed from the greatest title team in NCAA history.

The two are incomparable.

dark ages.

5-5 in 2020
6-7 in 2021

Mass exodus of players. Severe lack of accountability across the program.

We were about as close to the dark ages as our AD would let us become.

What do you think the last 2 years have been? LSU also had more than 39 players available for it’s last game in 1999.

Yeah. We are 8 months removed from a WR at QB and 35 scholarship player in a bowl game and somehow BK is the problem . LSU fans are ridiculous. I will judge this team and these coaches at the end of the year but nothing I have seen has been unexpected except maybe the special teams. BK has won everywhere he has been and I expect he will make what ever changes are needed when he can make them. The cupboard was not bare when Saban got here. Not nearly what it was when BK got here.

Had the momentum of the greatest team of all time been capitalized upon, you would have a point.

Let this give you some perspective, that Championship should have bought O 5 years of goodwill. He fricked the dog so badly that he was fired not even 2 full seasons later. That is how badly he ran our program into the ground. He burned up what should have been 5 years of grace in 18 short months, and what you saw last saturday was more a product of that than anything else.

I’m sorry but Dinardo had brought a bunch of talent to Baton Rouge and we had several stops in the top 10.

He’s the guy that brought us out of the dark ages and I hate revisionist historians denying that.

Someone has not paid attention to the roster attrition the past 2 years and how thin our roster is

Not really, didn't we have only 35 (+/-) scholarship players the end of last year before Kelly was even hired?

Saban had 85 scholarship athletes.

Kelly started with 39

Huge difference

I disagree. Team discipline and culture were in sharp decline because of O's malfeasance. There was a sharp, downward momentum that needed to be changed. One positive thing is, so far, this team fights.

I’d be fascinated to learn if you hold yourself to same impossible standards you’re trying to hold CBK to.
