Flying into JAX this weekend and gonna spend the weekend in st Augustine. Other than driving over to Gainesville sat evening for the lsu game we don’t really have any plans. Any tips on stuff to do or really good places to eat would be appreciated. Thanks.

LINK Fort Matanzas is one of my favorite things to do.

The world golf village is in St. Aug if you're a golfer. You can easily spend a few days playing those courses. Very nice.

You know the whole downtown was just flooded. Better confirm everything. If not stay in Jacksonville beaches area. Ponte Vedra.

We went sailing on a small catamaran with this company: https://staugustineecotours.com/sailing/

The Columbia restaurant on St. George Street is supposed to be the home of the Cuban sandwich. Their pitcher of Mojitos was delicious also.

O.C. White's is supposed to be the nicest restaurant in the Historic area, but they were always booked full.

Burger Buckets in the Old Town was a really good late night burger.

"The Bar With No Name" across from the fort was our favorite watering hole.

Tini Martini bar had overpriced and watered down mix drinks. I don't recommend.

Prohibition kitchen, St. Augustine Distillery (do the tour) , Ice Plant (right next door to St. Augustine Distillery, Columbia Restaurant. I don’t know how much the recent flooding affected these businesses but these places I just listed are all around St. George St. and King street. Just take a walk around St. George, the fort , and Flagler College it definitely has a European vibe and an old world feel. Enjoy

I don’t think there was a huge flooding event. This street is on the bay and had some water, but this restaurant live cam has had people dining for a week or more. You should be ok.

That's Tini Martini. The atmosphere was nice, but the service and drinks weren't.

Caps on the water is a must. Best restaurant in town. We go there every Memorial Day.

Devil Crab Croquettes were great.
Don't miss the mojito pitchers.
