1) that’s pretty vague. Anyone can spout modern concepts but which modern concepts are you talking about? Please elaborate.

2) so which is it? Did we add modern concepts or did we do nothing special or creative but just had elite talent? Which is it?

No. We are running a style of offense that has won 1 title in like 20 years, and that was UGA last year. If you think Kelly can assemble that level of talent, then maybe in the title game we get lucky and our opponent's best offensive player gets hurt and we can squeeze out a title.

Tempo, spacing, and lots of motion (pre and post snap). Generally an offense that would dictate the terms (as opposed to our reactive philosophy)

We added modern concepts to our talent and had one of the GOAT offenses in CFB history.

2018 was when we had the same talent and weren't special or creative and had a middling offense in 2018

And he played in a vastly inferior situation that was barely a P5 schedule each year.

And in that time he beat LSU twice! With less talent.

Who needs national titles?

The process should see us getting better in certain areas.

That is not happening.

We are actually going backwards.

Our ST has never been this bad before and we still don't have an offensive idenity. Even worse the OC refuses to change things up.

Why do you think he came to the SEC? Because outside of Ohio State and Clemson, there weren’t many teams not in the SEC winning titles.

A few friends from around the country have asked me recently how I feel about Coach Kelly. My answer was always that I am bullish on the direction of the program.

I am starting to question it just a bit.

Is our antiquated offense a necessity due to the lack of talent at OL and QB - or is that just who we will be?

Is he too stubborn to change?

Will he be willing to make necessary changes at coordinator positions?

I’ve seen LSU use motion and tempo this season. From the film, their spacing doesn’t look bad. They have issues of front pass protecting and they can’t run the ball. Jayden is the best QB for right now but that’s just because your younger guys are exactly that, young.

LSU will struggle this year because they have a young O line and an average at best QB. Both of those issues won’t be nearly as glaring going into the future.

You are wrong. These players are mid. We knew that coming in to this year. Yes BK will assemble a talented team at LSU. We have won 3 national titles in 20 years with 3 different head coaches who were each hired by a different athletic director. LSU is a special place, and BK is a high quality coach.

Unclench your pearls.

Remember to enjoy football, it doesn’t put food on your table.

Maybe stop posting so much, but you’ve been told that before, I’m certain.

I think the offense looks sluggish because the o line play isn’t great and the QB is average to below average. You have help on the way but they’re just young. An o line with a veteran Campbell, Jones, Heard and Howard at QB makes a monumental difference.

Our best OL are two freshman tackles.

Our best WR seems to be a diva who doesn’t really care to work

Our best QB seems to have heart but is limited in his ability to actually get the ball downfield.

SlowFlow has consistently hated our offense over the years I have been posting here. It used to piss me off and I hate to say this but he has mostly been right.

He’s just playing a part. At some point around 80k he became a caricature and has had to maintain it.

Our WRs aren't but otherwise, sure.

Has nothing to do with the scheme.

The scheme is to hit Boutte when he’s wide open in the end zone. Does Denbrock have to throw it too??

Uh, no

I was right about Les Miles. I was right about O.

Kelly is showing worrying issues. He says he came to the SEC to win titles but he's relying on the same structurally flawed philosophies that held him back at ND. He's going to have to understand his preferred offense will not work unless he can build a 2021 UGA (and then get incredibly lucky in the title game)
