To groom Nuss or Walker for the future. I’ve seen enough of Daniels. Good kid, athletic, but just a below average QB. Truth may hurt some, but we’re handcuffing the offense and the skill players.
ETA : Walker. Any QB who can go through a progression and find WRS down field.

If nothing else, it will give Daniels a chance to watch from the sidelines a bit. Right now, it's like they just keep beating their heads against the wall
