Stop Hooker Beat TN

This is the ultimate question. Listen, TN does not have a defense. LSU will move the ball and score points. The question is can we slow down Hooker and force mistakes. I'm sure Mr. House will have a great game plan against him. LSU is 19th in total defense. TN is 95th. I think we slow him down enough to make TN kick FG's instead of scoring TD's. LSU is also 3rd in the nation in the second half defense. We also practice against a running QB. LSU is not oblivious of the RPO and a QB who runs. LSU needs to run more and burn the clock; TN cannot score if they do not have the ball. It will be hard fought game, but I say LSU contains Hooker enough to pull this one out. The second half adjustments will work again. House and BK have proved that all year. Why would it change. LSU wins because of the stingy defense at home. The LSU defense is the best Tennessee has had to face so far, and it’s going to show.
Hooker and the Vol offense will get things rolling to make this a back-and-forth fight, but Daniels and the LSU attack will keep up.
There haven’t been too many deep shots from Daniels so far – that’s about to change.
The Tiger offense will run well enough to take some of the pressure off, and the defense will come up with the one second half stop the Vols won’t.

#40 will be the difference maker in this game. He will be giving the QB fits either by pressure or shadow.

I expect our D to handle TN.
I am more concerned about our offense but I think we'll manage.
Tiger Stadium is still the best home field advantage in the country.

Pitch and catch27, I hope you are correct in your assessment of the two teams. I guess we will see Saturday.

Hooker about to get the D!

We need long sustained clock draining drives to keep their offense off the field and let our defense rest.

Every time we decide to rush a huge play results..the QB escapes the pocket for a WR left open downfield. Hooker is a scrambler and throws on the run well.
Our DL haven't had the best angles nor getting to the QB fast enough. We need our LB's to spy and edge rushers not over extend the tackle.
