Try driving up the road a little bit to the bustling metropolis that is Ferriday, La, old son!

As someone who grew up twenty miles away from Vi-lou I promise you it's practically a beacon of hope for that entire area. It's far from great but it could be much worse.

And just a tip, don't piss off the CPSO. They'll never find your body.

Although Ferriday is the only place I've had a car wreck gawker ride up on a bicycle to explain taking a couple side streets to get around the traffic tie-up. Kinda nice of the old toothless cig smoking woman to do that. (like I'd trust a Ferriday resident to steer me the right way through the back alleys of that area)

To be fair, if you take a right at the red light at the church before Ferriday and then turn right by the old mill building it'll lead you to 84 and you avoid all the red lights and Ferriday-ness. However drive slow because there are always people walking in the road. Common knowledge in those parts to avoid traffic.

A few miles west is Ferriday. That's like people complaining about prairieville when baton rouge is right next door. Oh, wait

You right. And anyone in V-town with any cash, sends their kids to AC or Cathedral.

Maybe so but the trashiest in Louisiana has to go to Bogalusa

I ain’t saying Bogalusa is heaven, but it’s a far damn cry from the trashiest place in Louisiana. Have you ever looked at a La map and seen all the towns you’ve never heard of? Bogalusa just had a music festival with Grammy winners playing at it. A Fortune 500 company has a plant there. It’s got a hospital system with multiple clinics in town. There are currently 5 new houses being built in town and even more that that outside the city. Where do you think all these people leaving New Orleans go? Just to St Tammany? If you live in town you catch a hint of paper mill now and then, but have you ever smelled Norco or the plants in BR? And that shite is straight chemical. Paper mill funk is at least organic. So take your trashy talk elsewhere else.

Possessing the GOAT Christmas decorations gives you the cred to do it.

It ain’t bragging if you back it up.

One of my best friends is from Vidalia. I can’t say a bad thing about the place.

We used to beat the ever living shite out of them in Football

Okay Vidalia lovers,

1) Organize a TDOT meetup there.

And/or

2) plan my Vidalia weekend getaway itinerary.

It’s a pass through town on the way to some decent bass fishing spots. So I give it a pass.
