Brooklyn Bowl is a cool venue. Intimate but not cramped.

For four feminist women in their early 60’s, they brought it. One of the best shows I’ve seen, and I just saw KISS 11 days ago. I couldn’t hear shite for a couple hours after.

If you watch my Fast and Frightening vid, Jennifer bends down and looks right into my camera. I was front row, on the rail, directly 3 feet from her. They tore it down. Their whole reputation for 35 years was built on touring. I figure after sitting at home for 2.5 years they were ready to play.

Being big pro-choice advocates, they made no mention of Roe V. Wade or abortion. Covid is their biggest concern. Their road crew were masked up. I saw Jennifer outside by the tour bus and her mask was on. They couldn’t take pictures with us because of it. They wanted to, but someone gets sick, shows get canceled and they lose money.

It was worth way more than the $29 I spent. They fricking rock baw. Go see them if you haven’t. They’ll tour next year to.

It was cool. Patio overlooks the baseball field. Wasn’t cramped you’re right. Other bands have played there like The Offspring.

Donita is approaching 60, but not quite there yet.
I met her in my 20's and we became friends .... saw some great L7 shows in that time (lollapalooza 94 from the stage) ... Tipitina's

glad they are still rocking

The one consistent thing about L7 is they come off intimidating, but they really love their fans. Jennifer tried to intimidate me, I just smiled at her. My footage is better than the pictures.

I’m joking. She looked right into the camera in one of my videos. She did make eye contact a couple times during the show. Donita walked over and played in front of me to.

It wasn’t a packed house. The crowd was loud singing along. I think the band enjoyed it. Playing Suffragette City was a last second decision on their part.

Nice video clips. Jen looking into your camera was pretty cool.
