There's plenty of circumstantial evidence, and we all have prejudices when it comes to calls for or against us when our teams are involved. Unless there's a set of recordings proving that refs intentionally influencing the game is the norm, and those recordings come to light, the status quo persists.

Nothing circumstantial about the "Crescent City screw job" especially when 4 of the officials in that game were from the Los Angeles area. Nothing circumstantial about the video evidence. Before that I was on the fence about cheating in the NFL. That removed all doubt for me.
In college football this has been going on in the SEC for years.
