This thread is stupid. Doesn't anyone realize the defense is the problem. "The Georgia game was a classic example of getting busted by the big play. The Tigers allowed plays of 66, 49, 48, 47, 44, 33 and 22 yards."

No, but it looks like he will be playing Hatch's role if the other thread (about Hatch out for the year) is true.

I agree! I dont know why everyone is insisting the problem is with the QB...Yes hes young...yes he gives us the best chance to win....its the defense that is the main problem right now. It isnt helping by everyone criticizing a RS freshman QB who gives it his all every game. He has one flaw....he stares down receivers and leads to picks. He will eventually learn to stop doing that and become our offensive leader. Why can you all not understand this?

If JJ moves the chains, and doesn't throw pick's, or at least pick 6's, then sure why wouldn't JJ be the starter?

so, you're saying there can only be one problem at a time? If the problem is just the defense, what the frick do our offensive coaches do all week?

Should he be the starter by the Arkansas game? Definitely. Will Les admit that he made a mistake by not giving this kid a chance earlier and start him, doubtful.

NO! But he will be playing a considerable amount. I think that two QB system will be more effective than what we have now.
