I remember but did they ever explain why he was out of bounds? Did they say he didn't have possession? I remember them claiming Miles was satisfied with the explanation but it was never told to the public....and Mike Slive just told the press they would have no comment on the issue....that was complete horseshite!!!

If I recall, the replay official did not have HD tv to look at and the fuzzy standard definition did not show it well enough to overturn the call on the field. Supposedly all replays were outfitted with HD by the following week.

You could clearly see PP7 had not one but both feat in, he even marked the field where is foot was.

After the game was over and it was evident that the Tigers were robbed of an opportunity, Gumps claimed that Julio touching Patrick while he was out of bounds ruled him out immediately but I seem to recall it not holding up to the rules.
