I refused the shot. Risked a six figure contracting job. Did not care.

Well I learned my lesson. Wouldn't have gotten it in retrospect, just did it so everyone would shut the frick up and for my Mom. My parents were pissed at me for months for not getting boosted. When they called me up asking when I was going to get, I had to laugh.

EDIT: Also didn't get Covid through the main spread, but have gotten it twice since then (including last week). Was just a bad cold.

Everyone had unique circumstances. You did what you had to do. I am a retired COL who has a very good retirement. The contracting gig is just a second income. Probably still would have refused (for a myriad of reasons) but I do not criticize anyone who too it, no matter what the reason.

I held string even though they were getting to my mom with delta will kill all your children. Well I didn’t get vaxxed, my parents did, then they both got covid.

Now they don’t ever bring it up.

I got it because I had just done a liver donation not long before. My doctor pretty much advised me to be in line when my age bracket opened, furthermore I work in corporate (regional) for one of the vaccine companies
