The difference between Jameson and Olave is Jameson has that top 3-4 speed in the nfl, plus agility, and he is long. Jameson has the ability to be an all time great if he has a decent QB and he stays healthy. He reminds me of a mix between Desean Jackson and Tyreek Hill. He’s going to be an animal paired with Amon Ra ST Brown.
In terms of missing the point, yards are just one thing. You have to consider how yards are accumulated. Great receivers get yards all throughout the game, not just garbage time against softer defenses.
It’s pretty easy to watch Olave and see that he isn’t a top 10 or even top 25 wr right now in the league, despite him being 7th in yards.
As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, he’s not even getting gameplanned for or getting the toughest coverage assignment yet. He’s getting secondary coverage assignments and he’s racking up yards when we are down 2 tds. I’m glad he looked better this week, but the brakes should be pumped. He’s going to have to do a lot more to A) justify his draft slot and B) justify the capital that was spent to move up to his draft slot.

I said olave would do good to gain some weight because some cb1 will be able to limit him at that size. Certain cb1s if they get their hands on him.
Olave is not jameson williams when it comes to taking it to the house from any point on the field.
And that is fine. Olave is a fine player. They both have different strengths.
Williams will also get taken out by some elite corners at that size.
Williams ran 23 mph against miami last yr. I don't think anyone in the nfl topped out at 23mph last yr.
What does that have to do with olave's size?
