So he's running to unseat John Kennendy and has a commercial that says he graduated from Top Gun. But then the only issue he brings up is abortion and codifying Roe? Nothing on the border and security which would align more with his Top Gun intro? I'm confused, don't think I've ever seen someone go so hard in the paint and then shoot an air ball like this.

He's trying to use his military service to appeal to conservative voters but using his stance on codifying Roe to appeal to pro-abortionists. Many (probably most) conservatives want abortion to be a state-level issue as it gives voters more control/say.

With nothing else on his platform, it's safe to say he's focused on appealing to conservatives who aren't strictly pro-life/anti-abortion. That's a VERY small group in this state.

While having had a military career like his earns respect among conservatives, his sole expressed stance in his commercial is something many consider extremely liberal. That lack of any other political stance thus creates the implication that all of his political stances are extremely liberal (whether the are or not).

This is one of those candidates a party has pushed to run just to say "we tried".

If anyone runs on a platform that exists primarily, especially only, that Roe should not have been overturned (sending it to the states) they are a liberal. Period. Don't let them lie to you. Don't believe anything beside their name; ignore all the other talking points because if they scream "moderate"... they are not.

If they claim overturning Roe banned abortions along the way, they are a Marxist.
