I have to believe this kid will get worlds better. And, if this happens, WATCH OUT!

Stafford was almost run out of town his first year at the controls.

The kid really can throw a damn fine pass.

I know I know......pick 6s, pick 6s, but damn if I just got a feelin' this will make him stronger as a player.

With Lee I have a chance at catching a foul ball in the stands.

Keep him!

I cant help but wonder if most of the INTs that were returned for TDs were just intercepted and not instantly turned into TDs...how would things have gone? I think its pretty unlucky that so many were actually returned for TDs. Not that I think INTs are good...I just think young QBs have more INTs...but so many INTs returned for TDs is fairly rare...and unlucky.

Thats a good point, I believe someone had the stats on stafford the other night and it was worse than Lee to this point if memory serves, but I bet the difference was pts off TO's

I do think Lee has a lot of potential. Lee is NOT the answer RIGHT NOW. If we are trying to make Lee the QB Stafford is, and we are also getting someone supposedly better in Russell Sheppard next year, what are we saving Jefferson for? We can not keep letting Jarrett Lee go out there and throw interceptions and lose games. If plan A isn't working, move to plan B... try Jordan Jefferson.

The gameplan can't be to build Lee if it means losing games this year. This will hurt our recruiting classes and bring down the program. Even though Lee MIGHT be good in a few years, we need to focus on this year. Because what if next year never comes? What if Lee would turn out to be another Josh Booty? 3 - 8? Let's do what's best for THIS YEAR'S team and we will benefit from it in the future.

If you listen to the rantards who have the inside scoop on practice...JJ was throwing picks on every attempt. I guess that could be true.

Lee has a fine arm, but stares his preferred receiver down. Until he stops doing this, above average DB's will have a field day intercepting him. I'm hopeful he will improve, but I don't believe the interceptions go away overnight. We have little choice but to keep playing him right now. KC.

Let's see. We have a redshirt freshman that is making fairly typical redshirt freshman mistakes. So, it is some people's idea of a grand plan to bench him for the TRUE freshman? Someone give me a list of TRUE freshman who have played largely mistake free football in the history of the NCAA. I realize there have been a few stud freshman in history but seriously, how many?
