Who was it that chased the kickoff returner down?

He chased that returner down 40+ yards. I can’t seem to remember but to me that player’s determination, effort, and “don’t ever give up” attitude showed me where this team is in regards to attitude. That is such a great sign that the “alignment” is happening and players are buying in.

Thank you. That play will not be remembered bc of the flag but it was such a great effort that young man showed

I think the fans in the stadium will remember his effort. But yea thankfully it was brought back.

He absolutely busted his arse to catch ol’boy.

I agree. The feeling we at least had in our section was that the kids care enough now to put in the effort no matter the circumstances

He got held and still made the play.

His effort on that "non-play" was definitely noticed today and I am betting he gets a lot of praise in the film session

I agree. Even after the penalty was assessed by the refs everyone, coaches and players alike, were congratulating him for his effort

Another player too,
33?.. a white guy?, if I remember correctly,
gave it hell.
Even though he likely wasn't going to catch him, he was 100% effort the whole way.

That’s Wes weeks that was chasing him also, he didn’t have the speed to catch up but he never gave up

Someone grabbed him and slowed him down a touch, iirc?
