My overall credit score was 815. I forgot one 20 dollar payment while I was going through a cross country move, switching jobs, and dealing with sick parents. It's now 741 after bottoming out at 710. I lost over 100 points of my credit score because I missed one 30 day payment. The system is broken.

Something isn’t right here. It doesn’t drop 100 points because “you missed one $20 payment” lol

Why would I lie about this? Is it somehow cool to get screwed by the system after over 20 years of never missing a payment?

If it wasn't one of the most idiotic things a person could do, I'd post the graph tracking my credit score, as well as the provided explanation on why it dropped.

Yeah, it is about right. You don't know what you're talking about. A single missed payment is the biggest knock on a credit score.
