Friday Night Football - Florida State vs Louisville

I don't know how to feel about this tonight. We looked terrible against Syracuse. We went down to Orlando and beat Central Florida where they had only lost twice in the last 5 years last week. FSU on the other hand beat LSU in New Orleans and they are coming off a bye week. IMO a must win game for Scott Satterfield to keep the fans off his back. Louisville has won 4 of the last 6 meetings with FSU, including a win in Tallahassee last season. This is a very big game for both programs.
Former UofL great Michael Bush will have his jersey honored at the game
Bush to have jersey honored at FSU game

The 2005 campaign was Bush's best, rushing for 1,143 yards -- despite missing two games -- and a single-season record 23 touchdowns in leading the Cards to the Gator Bowl. That season saw Bush total six 100-yard rushing games, including a 204-yard, three-touchdown performance in a win over Florida Atlantic. He opened the year with 128 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Kentucky and added 159 yards and four touchdowns in a game at West Virginia.

I’m ready for the nuclear meltdown on the rant if Louisville wins

We never play well @Louisville.

Playing a team coming off a bye is tougher than a lot of people realize. Hopefully it will be a good game

Fantastic to see the great Michael Bush honoured and know that the middling Louisville Cardinals football programme will never again have the number 10 worn.

Got a feeling FSU dominates.

Syracuse may actually be pretty good. Give me the cardinals tonight unless Jordan Travis can win the game by himself

Not gonna lie… those unis are siiiiiiick.
Side note: Michael Bush was a highly recruited running back/quarterback but wanted to play Qb at Louisville. Petrino had to move him to running back because of position overfill. Louisville quietly (maybe not so) is a solid school for qb’s…They had a nice run with Chris Redman, Dave Ragone, Stefan Lefors, Bush (later moved to running back), Brian Brohm, Teddy Bridgewater and Lamar Jackson. That’s a list any school would be happy with, all very good college careers.

Turns out Travis is good and fsu might be pretty solid

I was impressed with how the line performed versus LSU.... it wasn't the seive I expected.
Offense executed well to March down the field.
Defense did a good job versus the running game and limited explosive plays.
Was enough busted coverages to concern me, but Daniel's was either reading the other side of the field or already scrambling.
Still positioned to compete for acc title, which is a welcomed surprise given the last few years.

Congrats to you and all who tailed you on this wager

Fsu has no running game. Gotta be able to get decent yards on the ground in the traditional sense to close people out
